Thanks for the prompt reply. No, the +5vdc line still registers 5 volts, so
I guess thats good news for my power supply. Also its good to hear that
the power light flashing is normal. These things being the case, there
must be a problem with either the data lines on the KBD connector or the
adapter I made. Its also possible that my original A2000 (Cherry) keyboard
will not work with this adapter. BTW I got the instructions for making the
adapter from a file I downloaded from the hardware library. I guess I will
have to get my hands on a real A1000 keyboard to test.
