#FFV w/Seiko CM-1440

Yes, I'd like to find out your opinion on the Seiko CM-1440 w/FFV.
The .25mm dot pitch should be super-sharp. Do you have a cable to
connect it up?
I just got this mail order catalog which lists a Sony CPD-1320 VGA monitor
for $350. It has a .25mm dot pitch and has a Trinitron tube like
the Seiko. Are you going to be displaying a screen larger than the
640X400 that the Amiga produces in interlaced mode?

Tom,
I'm still waiting for my FFV to arrive from Creative Computing. So I
really don't know what it looks like yet. There's a cable that comes
attached to the monitor that requires an adapter that supposedly comes with
the FFV. If it's not here by Monday and they still haven't sent it I'm
going to cancel my order with them and order from someone else.
That Sony sounds like a good deal. (I'm trying to type this using a
Dvorak keyboard and it's taking me forever). I'll probably be using
overscan; is that what you mean by more than 640X400?

Just to add a note:
The Seiko Monitor is great. The Sony Multiscan is pretty good too, but
the pitch is 0.26 mm. The screens for the CM-1440 and the Sony CPD-1302 is
similar in design. I've both monitors hooked up to a 386 and a
1040STe(will be dumping the STe for an Amiga soon!!!).

Yet another Amiga convert. I'm glad to here the Seiko is great. All I
have to do now is get that damn flicker fixer. I keep saying I'm going to
call them and I don't. Well, today's the day!
