Hello all, and in advance I thank you for your time. I am a newcomer to
the world of the Amiga computer, and am still searching for the best places
to ask for hardware, software, tech help, etc. I would like to know if
there is a high-density diskette drive kit for the A500, and if it is an
internal or external type. Also, what kind of price should I expect to pay
(I do remember that Applied Engineering was mentioned a couple of years ago
in Computer Shopper, and their drive was $180)? Any information/phone
numbers/addresses would be greatly appreciated.

Well…you've come to the right place for information.
Commodore now sells a high density drive for the Amiga; however, it
requires that you also install the new 2.04 ROM kit and OS upgrade. Check
with your dealer for more information.
