Have just gotten a ProAudioSpectrum card. Would appreciate recommendations
for an external CDROM that can run from the SCSI port of the PAS card, and
will also meet MPC standards.
Wouldn't mind one that came with encyclopedia thrown in, since my
encyclopeida CD has died (scratched?), and my daughter uses this a lot.

Ed, You might want to try out the NEC MPC reader. I use the CDR-73M
external drive. You can get info through TIGER SOFTWARE on it. Also, try
Brian at DAK, my understanding is that they have a terrific price on
