#8mm Tape Backup for PC

Problem:
I have a Exibyte 8mm tape backup system connected via. SCSI to my PC
using a ASPI (Advanced SCSI Protocal Interface) complient interface card.
This tape drive when connected to the Mac, performs in a flawless manner.
The PC tape backup software I'm using, TAPEMATE, has enough problems to be
almost worthless, though it works well with other tape formats.
Is there a resonably proces ASPI tape backup package that works well
with the Exibyte 8mm system? I only need single system backups… Thanks

My company makes a tape backup package that is available in an ASPI
version. The package, BakupWiz, supports a number of tape drives including
the Exabytes. If you'll leave an address or FAX number, I'd be happy to

William, believe me, I've used them all and get all kinds here at our
mastering facility. The best one hands down is Reference Technologies
REFTAPE, followed closely by Micro Design's SCSI Express software. SYPLUS
is another, and woks well, but I'd prefer the other two.
