I promised to report back on my problems with Street Atlas.
I used your settings which did not solve the problem. I purchased QEMM
which did not solve the problem. I took the machine back to the dealer
(CBI in Skokie Illinois who provided excellent service). He tried a
variety of things including changing the CDROM and the CDROM board.
Nothing worked until until he tried the 1.2 driver from Mitsumi. I was
using the version 1.3 of the driver which was recommended by the Mitsumi
rep. The 1.2 driver has apparently solved all of my problems with Street
Atlas.

Great! Glad you've got it working and are now enjoying the Street Atlas.
I'm also glad that my drive came with the 1.2 instead of the 1.3 drivers
<grin>. Guess the latest version isn't always the best. I've still been
unable to find a copy of MSCDEX 2.21 (I've tried both versions that have
appeared in MSL here) that will work in my system, even though Version 2.20
works perfectly. Oh, well.
