I upgraded my 300UX from 1.1 to 2.1, and had the following problem:
First of all, open look did not start properly at all – it appears
that the format of the .olprograms file changed – and if you
try to use one you had previously – things didn't work so well.
I removed .ol* files, and executed oladduser. After this,
Open look seemed to come up properly.
Only problem was, trying to execute anything other than "exit"
resulted in nothing happening.
Turns out that my swap space was too small, I had a 10MB swap
area – which was fine for 1.1, but for 2.1 you need 18MB or more.
I created a 20MB /SWAPFILE file and then everything was fine.
No error messages explaining the problem though – real nice.

Also … had to recompile and relink X-window programs,
they came up with the error "Cannot connect to server"
but worked after recompile and relink.
I didn't see this as a restriction in the documentation.
