Good luck selling that drive! I don't think AE will ever upgrade the software/hardware for 2.04!

BUT!… vicious rumor has it that COMMODORE (of all people) *WILL* be supporting the AE high density drive…

I hate to throw cold water on such a pleasant idea, but from what CBM said to me, it's not likely to happen. HOWEVER, I DO have a driver that I wrote myself that works under 2.0.4. The problem is that I am currently unemployed and I want $ for it as a result. (There is some information in the Includes & AutoDocs about a 150 RPM/High density drive, but the AE drive is a 175 RPM drive. A friend mentioned precise speed control as the major problem with the slower speed drives, but that got very technical very quickly and really doesn't help solve the problem of an AE driver.) Max

Max; Any chance of turning that driver into a shareware product? I have an AE drive and would like to use under 2.04. Frank

If I get a regular job, I will probably do that, but I doubt that the percent return on shareware has any chance at all of paying the morgage or feed the kids. Max
