With all the news of AutoCAD and HyperChem (not to mention the retail
products) appearing in their M.S.Windows incarnations, and quotes about
more to come on the Windows platform from Autodesk, can anyone tell me if
Animator Pro and/or 3D Studio will be moving in this direction? If so, any
release dates projected at this point?
I would applaud this direction and wait to hear any news.

My personal opinion is that 3DS will probably stay away from Windows.
After all, it's a high power $3,000 application that needs all the
horsepower it can get. Why saddle it with the limitations of Windows?
