Animator not Pro!

Apple has already announced that they will be porting their operating
system over to Intel chips and select portions of it to WINDOWS, Sport.
AND, the PowerPC happens to be designed around RISC chips, which Motorola
can make if they want to. I was talking about their 68xxx chips which
NOBODY has announced they are porting ANYthing to! And for good reasons.
No one but Microsoft claims that Windows is an operating system. It
requires DOS, so it ain't. When they come out with the version that does
not need DOS, let's THEN bash it as an operating system, if it's unstable.
You throw around your information with a lot of assertion, but that does
not make it true. It's regrettably incomplete. Even Apple has acknowledged
that the large installed base of Windows stations (10million compared to
the 7 million Macintoshes out there) will draw (read: IS DRAWING) software
developers away from the Mac. Apple has been making moves to follow the
crowd for a couple of years already and, now that their lawsuit against
Microsoft and HP has fallen on its little smiley face, they'll be working
even harder to get to RISC chips with or ahead of everybody else.
I'm afraid you're making announcements in an empty theater, Wayne. Say,
you're not on TV, are you?
By the way I forgot to mention that Animator Pro locked up while performing
a simple character generation task during the demonstration I saw and it
took about 5 minutes to get it back up and running again. I also forgot to
mention Animator Pro's lack of support for scalable outline fonts.
You know what I call the perfect, ultimate operating system?
VAPORWARE!
Probably the human mind is as close as one can get to the perfect operating
system. When do we see the 9-pin jack behind the right ear for a virtual
reality-based software designer's workstation?
