you purchased 3D Studio Rel 1.0 after March 10th, then you are entitled to
a FREE upgrade to release 2.0. If your purchase of 3DS Rel 1.0 was after
March 10th ( as it must have been looking at your message) then we can
upgrade you for 250 Pounds Sterling. You will need to send us a cheque for
305.50. This covers the shipping and VAT.

Thanks – but the situation was that when I purchased (for a client) r2 was
available – I was supplied r1. It has now all been resolved thanks to the
distributor. (I regret to say that Autodesk weren't terribly helpful to
start with, although that may have been lack of clarity in instructions).
