Latest QB Patch Bad?

I've had a significant problem with the latest QuarterBack patch file. I
now have a version of QuarterBack with "invisible" menu items! The only
thing visible is the shortcut key for quitting QuarterBack. All the other
menu items are now black on black! BTW, I am running OS 3.0.
Any suggestions/comments???

I think your problem is with OS 3.0. A friend of mine (also a college
prof) asked to borrow my QB5 to see if it worked with his tape drive, so
he knew whether or not to upgrade, and had the same problem. We were
wondering if it was because it was not the original disk (I took my backup
copy). I never thought until now about it being 3.0, but he WAS running
under that on his A3000 (developer).

Yup! Your professor friend and I have similar systems, and identical
problems! I have gone back to using the next to last version of QB5
(these QIC tape back-ups beat 100's of floppies any day!). Maybe its
something that Central Coast will address in its next update.
