Hello I am encoutering a problem with my A4000 that is driving me crazy. When I boot up my A4000 everything is fine, but after about couple of minutes the machine starts to behave strangely. It seems that the left mouse button is activting itself on and off all the time. When I move the pointer over any ICON such as drawer or disk, the ICON will be open or activated. If I move the pointer over the window's top mover bar the the window will be drag around with out me pressing any of the mouse button. If I unplug the mouse the strange behaviour will stop. I tried plugging in my old mouse from my A2000 but it seems that I can not use the Left mouse button. Have anyone encounter this problem before ? I am totally puzzled any information will be surely appericated. Best Regards, Sze C

Your A4000 must still be under waranty, so call the Gold Service people and they will fix it up for you.

Hi Dale Yes the Machine is still under warranty. The trouble is that I am traveling with the machine. I work overseas. I guess I have to send the machine back to the dealer where I bought my machie. I wish CBM have a stronger support in the Asia region. Thanks for the hint anyway. Best Regards, Sze C

Sounds like maybe one of your CIA chips has a heat-sensitive defect. -Chris

Hmmmm….. Well.. I need to send the machine back to the shop where I bought my unit then. It's going to cost me a round trip shipping. Well.. what to do 😐 Anyway thanks for the info. Best Regards, Sze C
