Recently, ASDG sent a fax to a number of dealers which went into some gory detail on supposed shortcomings of our product Imagemaster with regard to ASDG's AdPro product. The fax is replete with misdirection, outright lies, and innuendo; we were left with little choice but to respond with a comparison of Imagemaster features to AdPro's with regard to the issues raised in the fax. If you are interested in the issues raised, you will find our reply in library 6 of the AmigaVendor forum; the filename is "ASDGbs.lzh". If you have any questions about any of the points we have made in our response, please feel free to raise the issue(s) with me either in our section in AmigaVendor (6), or wherever you feel it is appropriate. –Ben …via AutoPilot

Ben, Recently I purchased an OpalVision board. I've had IM-FC for a little more than a year, but for a number of reasons am moving from the FC24 to the Opal. As you probably know, ADPRO stuff comes bundled with the Opal board (I also have ADPRO). Do you have an IM version that will run on the Opal board? Pete

Whoooaaaa, Hey Pete did you say "ADPRO stuff comes bundled with the Opal board?" Where did I miss out? I've had the Opal Board since March and never got anything but the ADPRO/OPALPAINT Operator. Did you have to contact someone to get the ADPRO "stuff" or was it in the box? Alan Henry – Feeling like a mushroom on AutoPilot (or is it feeling like an AutoPilot on mushrooms?)

James, I was just referring to the loader, saver, and OpalPaint operator. I didn't mean to imply that ADPro itself comes bundled with the board, which it does not. Sorry for any confusion I may have created. Pete

Not yet – but give us about a week or two. It's almost done, and barring an unlikely surprise, I suspect that IM 9.52 will have OpalVision direct support. It's also retargetable to HAM-E, FC24 and AGA as well as OpalVision… all in one version. That'll be the end of separate versions – a $25 upgrade will get a version that runs on the Amiga by itself, AND on the FC24, AND on the OplaVision. Again, we're looking at 1-2 weeks for release. Been cooking this one a while… :^) –Ben …via AutoPilot
