After attending a local Amiga users group, a couple friends of mine said that the speaker was from CBM, and reportedly advised the group that "instead of buying a 4000, save your money and wait…the next computer will make the 4000 obsolete " Otherwise I would have not posted the last post for fear of being laughed out of town. Yes, the 5000 will be cool. Yes it will dwarf the 4000. But the 5000 won't be out till September, 1994, and that's the beta version. Hold your breath if you see fit. –Paul < Motorola Inside >

Nah, those two items just didn't seem to fit in. A *standard* CD ROM would be much better than the CDTV alternative, but where is it? And, I don't think AMAX is quite there yet, either. It gets a bit frustrating when you hear that the shiny new toy that you don't even have yet won't be the shiniest for long. Next thing you know, NT will bring out the T5K upgrade *before* the A5K even ships.
