Richard, how did you get the $519 price? I got the exact same package last Monday and I was charged $549. BTW, I recommend to everyone to purchase computers, TVs, stereos, etc., via credit card as most cards now offer free warranty extensions. Usually double the warranty up to one year. Jim

I got the exact same package last Monday and I was charged $549.<< Hi, Jim – According to my invoice, dated 12/14/92, it was $519 for the 3024, SCSI card, cable, rails, and various discs; an additional $47 for extended replacement policy, and $18 for s&h; grand total $584.00. Did you place your order with Rick Hartley & ask for the CIS deal arranged with Bill Hines? If there is some confusion, I'd like to ask you to be a gentleman in dealing with Rick. He seems to be a genuinely nice guy; maybe he goofed. Thanks for your cooperation :|) ………………RRR

Now I understand. I didn't talk to Rick since I didn't join this forum until a few days ago. Not that big of a deal since I got a warranty extension of one year by using my American Express card. Jim
