#sill no full picture!

I too only use my canon rarely & for color graphics. It's really a pain
that I can't get a full picture because, as I said the colors are
sensational with the PrefPrinter. Just talked to teck support. At Joe's
suggestion I reinstalled ADPro2.1.3 and the C=1.3 canon driver (I have
always used driver from 7 yrs ago). NOTHING..same results grrrr. So it
must be the 4000 since that is the only difference in the equation. Can't
win them all.

I guess I should be cautious.. I have not yet used it on an A4000.

If you have one or access to a 4000, try it…I'd love to know if it's me
or the 4000 <G>.

Gracia, I don't recall if the Canon in question is the pj-1080a but if it is,
I have used it succesfully with an A3000 and prefprinter under both 2.1.3 and
2.3. Hope this helps narrow it down. -BiL-

I'm almost embarrassed to a say how I got it to work <G>. I was fooling
around with the new Post DL, trying to see if it would print to the Canon
(no), and had set the Printer Gfx limits Box for a letter page in pixels,
as one must for Post. I then, for some reason tried the PrefPrinter again
and got a beautiful full page print!!! I have NEVER used the PrinterGfx
before with PrefPrinter…in fact I have never used it except for Post
because I assumed (ya, I know) the programs overrode the settings, unless
they TELL you to change them. No where did I read to set "limits", at
least not in plain English <g>. They say this is the best way to
learn…grrrr.
So much for tech support…
