What do the "HAM" and "LACE" buttons do on PC Imagine?
How do I set the resolution for the interface (I can go to 1024×768)?
How do I get Imagine to take advantage of my Diamond SS24X hi-color mode?
If I attempt an operation like Add Lines and I don't have an axis or it isn't
selected, the command "fails" with no error message. Since the code obviously
=checks= to see if an axis is present and selected, it would be nice to have an
error message that =says= so. There are several commands like this.
Relatively pleased so far (with obligitory disregards to the manual), but
would like to see more PC standard type features added in the next version.
Lest you think I am one of those people who complain about something and then
have no specific suggesstions about improving it, let me assure you that I will
be happy to make up a document describing every little thing I would like to
see changed (or left alone), but I don't want to invest that kind of effort
without some indication that "outside" suggestions are read. Interested?

Mike, Impulse is definitely interested in reading all suggestions and
comments from users regarding possible improvements to the software.
At present, there is no way to change the resolution of the interface
and commands like Add Lines don't return error messages. I will pass
your comments along to Mike Halvorson. Also, I'm personally curious
what PC standard features you'd like to see. –Rick Rodriguez

This could be the start, etc. For one thing… why only the RIGHT Alt key?
Failing that, why EITHER Alt key? Why not just letters? It's not like a word
processor, where you have to intersperse commands with text…
Now, another problem. After spinning an object in place, I decided to do a
"roller-coaster" anim. IMAGINE crashes rather than render it on my 8 meg
machine with a bare boot (other than a mouse driver). I have thoughtfully 😉
uploaded it, and would appreciate it if you would take a peek at it. It's a
path, a torus, a ground plane, and three cones. If I can't do that in 8 megs,
then… <grrrr>
Just try to QuickRender frame 20 from the stage editor of the project editor,
and BOOM! "Call Impulse".

On the other hand… it may be that IMAGINE doesn't want to live on
a DOS 6 DBLSPACE drive. I moved it to my uncompressed volume, and
now I need to DL the file I UL'ed, because the program ate some
files. I'll post again if it works OK.
Mike, I delete your previous upload and await word from you. Impuls hasn't
informed me of any problems with Imagine and DBLSPACE. I'm not using DOS 6
yet. –Rick
Ack! No, I meant that I needed to download the file I uploaded, because it
got wiped out by crosslinks. No matter; it wasn't so complex that I can't
recreate it.
While I'm here… how do I add another control point to an existing path?
