Hello Torsten, I forunately D/L your Mitsumi driver, loaded it as per instruction and all works OK, except for data and graphic discs access. When I click on the data icon, I am not able to access the disc, because the access program for DOS is in a DOS directory and I do not know how to point the icon to that directory. Atlas programs and the Yellow pages phonebook are the two that I have tried. My main concern is for PHOTOCD. All of these run just fine in DOS or with an OS2 A: boot disc – VDM. I run OS2 GA only. No service pack. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance. Bill Wallace

Hi, Torsten Just for grins, I tried your OS/2 2.0 Mitsumi LU005S driver with a Mitsumi LU002S Mitsumi drive. Except for some difficulties in reading the root directory off of the CD-ROM, it worked. With the root directory, on some CD-ROMs I would get the entire directory tree for the CD. On other CDs, I would get a blank root directory. Subdirectories were OK – at least for limited number of CDs and short time I spent trying it out. I could access the files in the subdirectories with no problem from either OS/2 or DOS windows. The audio CD Player worked as well with the exception that I couldn't change tracks. The CD always start play on Track 1. Attempting to select another track would cause the player to revert to track 1. It seems to me that you have a great potential to expand your market if you could get these minor bugs worked out. Then you could market this driver to owners of LU002S drives as well as LU005S drives. Gary Williamson Orlando, FL
