Thanks for the response. It doesn't seem like the cave-diving market would be mega-large – I guess you have to love it, sounds like you do. (Seems to be good UW video money in vanity tapes on vacation boat dives – the last time I went to the Cayman Islands one guy was cleaning up!) I've never watched one of your tapes – next time I go south I'll pay more attention. Portable data recording is a lot easier with todays matchbox sized microprocessor modules – built-in A/D, RS-232, lots of memory, prog in BASIC, etc. Great little toys! JKJ

Yes, very small vertical market, but it has been steady income for masters produced several years ago. <Vanity video> I tried this a few years ago but hardly made enough to pay expenses. Too many amateurs in this U/W video business. When you get down here give me notice and maybe we can do a dive together. I have a spare Tekna DV-3X.
