I got a SCSI CD-ROM for my IBM computer. Since it is SCSI, does that mean
I can also use it on my Mac? What software would I need to get? Does the
Mac need a "device driver" or equivalent? Where would I get one?
Thanks in advance,
Jim from Penngrove
If it is a SCSI drive you can use on MAC, Atari and many other platforms.
This is assuming you have the right drivers. You can usually get a driver
for the MAC in either MAC forums on Compuserve or directly from the
manufacturer of the drive. Download the files CDFAQ.TXT and CDROMF.ZIP …
the both contain quite a bit of useful information.
