#autodesk config screw-up

I was using rcpadi and rctargp this works, but I run into errors.. {{can't find RC*.EXP} file open error} When I set up like you see below.. I can't get it to render to any screen… I have a targa 16+ and tconfig for live video in from a VCR. the output is feed to another VCR and a monitor. Dave, Did your message get truncated? I didn't understand your Config / Autoexec file. The information that would be helpful too is the SET statement you have used to inform 3DS which driver the RCPADI etc. is using. In case you're running out of environment space, make sure that you start up 3DS without a batch file. If you have a 3DS batch file, go through each of the steps manually, and just before you start 3DS, type SET <enter> and make sure the set commands have been spelled correctly and aren't truncated.

Dave, Right off the bat, I see you should be using the RDPTPLUS.EXP driver, instead of the RDPTARGA.EXP driver. There are also a few statements relating to your targa board that should mabye be in your Autoexec.bat: Set targaset= tmode targedit These commands are in my autoexec, in addition to the ones that are already in yours. They all have paramaters after them. Refer to your Taga+ reference manual for what paramaters to set for your configuration. -Brian
