I'll try to answer your questions as fully as possible without getting
too verbose (I hope).
-No tracking of references.
-No table of contents
-No index generation
-No footnotes
-No hotkeys to repeat recorded keystrokes
-You can see how many pages there are in a document, but there's no way to
include that total. Auto page-numbering is supported.
-Final Copy II can read Final Copy, Final Copy II, Pen Pal, ProWrite 3.3,
WordPerfect 4.1 and ASCII documents. Final Copy II can only save as Final
Copy II format or ASCII.
-The newest version Final Copy II Release 2 supports our own fonts
(NimbusQ is the name of the format) as well as CompuGraphic (same format
as Workbench 2.0 or later uses) and Adobe PostScript Type 1 fonts.
-Are you talking about the transparency thing when asking about that
Postscript problem?

How do you get Final copy to read PS Type 1 fonts? Can you use the same
type 1 fonts that I use in PageStream ????

Just find the font files with the ".pfb" attached to them. Final Copy
will read them directly. Final copy will NOT import Type 3 files. I have
asked them for this support and they told me, "I will not confirm or deny
that this is being worked on". Will see….
They said the same thing about EPS files….

The Type 1 file you need for Final Copy II Release 2 is usually the one
that ends in ".pfb". For example, if a Type 1 font is called DragonWick,
the file needed is DragonWick.pfb.
However, Adobe never made rules concerning naming conventions. So, the
file needed might also be just DragonWick (without a ".pfb" extension).
In either case, just double-clicking on the file while trying to OPEN a
new FONT from the TEXT menu should give you that font. Be warned, though,
it takes a while for it to load and compute each Type 1.
