Bad info from dealer

Someone on InterNet left a message saying that he was told by his dealer that
Director II had been discontinued. I told him I would check here. From the
traffic, I would gather that his dealer is incorrect and that Director II
continues to be a supported product. The Internet person was looking to buy a
copy.
I will tell him to try the mail order houses.
Did "The Director II" switch distributors? I am wondering what the cause of
this (mis?)information might have been. Glad to see the product lives!

The status of the Director II is somewhat uncertain at this point due to the
delay in availability of an AGA version which has caused a distributor to
discontinue ordering the product (no doubt because of to few sales of the
current non-AGA version).

Is Director II available directly from Right Answers? I recall that the person
posting on Internet really wanted it for a project. I suggested he try some
of the mail order houses, but that failing….
No, the Director version 2 is only available from dealers at the moment.
