I have just got a pioneer 6-disk cdrom changer. I installed the driver and
mscdex as per manual. Mscdex says I have 6 drives but when I do a DIR I only
ever get the first drive. Can anyone help?

Do you specify a drive letter when you enter the DIR command? E.g.
DIR e:
Also do you try changing to the drive you want to do a DIR on? When you load
MSCDEX do you tell it the letter of the highest DOS drive?
I also suggest that you copy your MSCDEX command, or better still, the
whole AUTOEXEC.BAT and CONFIG.SYS files into your response. BTW, what CD-ROM
apps are you trying to run?
