#Toshiba 3401/Ultrastor

I bought a Toshiba 3401B and am running it off my Ultrastor 24F along with
my hard drive. I got the bare drive/figure-it-out-on-your-own deal so I was
lucky to get mounting screws in the package. Everything is running fine
under NT which is my primary use for it but I would like to run it under
DOS/Windows as well.
Anyone have any experience with CorelSCSI and the Ultrastor combination?
I'm loath to plunk down money for this on spec…
What's the source for CorelSCSI? Do you have to go direct to them (number?)
or is it something PC Connection et al would have?

I run the 24F with the Toshiba 3401, but I'm using the Ultrastor ULTRACD.SYS
driver. It works great, although the ULTRACD.SYS driver is a
generic(non-specific) CD-ROM driver.

Excellent! I was hoping to have some easy way of implementing this. How do I
obtain this driver? I checked my Ultrastor disks and didn't find it. Does
Ultrastor have a BBS? The 24F was a part of my Gateway system so my Ultrastor
information is limited to what Gateway put in their manuals.

Call Ultrastor and order the UltraOptical kit(lists $39, although you may be
able to purchase it for less from a reseller). The kit includes support for
CD-ROMs and removable optical media. Ultrastor's number is 510-623-8955.

I'm using Toshiba 3401b and the Ultrastor 24f and a Maxtor 340 meg
SCSI drive together. I'm using UltraStor's "UltraSCSI Software"
drivers. They work fine together but Ultrastor does not support multi
session yet. I've left messages with Ultrastor about what to do
(a.) Use Corel (b.) Use Trantor (c.) Wait for Ultrastor's new drivers
They have not answered! I will remind them soon.
Keep in touch, let me know how you do, I'm still looking for better
solutions for the SCSI adventure.<g>
PS I did not receive screws or drivers with the Toshiba!!
