My 24-pin printer has died and I'm considering a laser, a local shop
anyone know anything about a HP LaserJet L4 good or bad, speed is not
inportant and I don't have the cash right now for a PS printer…
I don't know from the 4L, but I just got a 4M (PostScript level 2 and 6
megs of memory). I love it! I'm going from an old Star 9-pin to 600dpi.
The LaserJet 4 series is very nice – the output is excellent, I've had no
major problems using mine with Amy (ImageFX didn't want to send it
PostScript directly, but I used the WB PS driver), & it looks
well-designed and easy to maintain.

to going from a bicycle to a corvette in one shot..
