Johnathan: I downloaded VTDEMO.LHA, and put it on a floppy. When I try to run it by clicking on the icon I get a file requester, "Insert volume Prince in any drive," after clicking on cancel three times I get the following message, "unable to open your tool `Prince: c/DeckRunner.' What's up?

Lewis, I am sorry about that. I had this just reported by another person who downloaded it. I need to check on a couple of things to find out if there is a way to get the program to operate without Deckrunner but if not, it is just another program that kindof initializes the database. My betatesters didn't report this as being necessary or a problem so I just found out about it now. I will look into it and send you a copy of deckrunner tomorrow. You would then need to change the tooltype requested by Vidtape by hitting R-Amiga I. Change Prince:c/DeckRunner to DeckRunner. I'll see what else I can do on this end ASAP. Thanks for letting me know! Jon JDSoftware

Johnathan: I received your "message" and after a bit of shuffling about. I had to rename the icon, as I'm interested in VTDemo, not VDDemo. So once I deleted the old icon, and renamed the new icon, she ran just fine. Now I'll give it a shot, and see if I can use it. Thanks —Lou

Lewis, I'm glad it worked for you. I have updated the icon in the archive file and it just needs to be updated in the library so it should work for anybody who should download it now. Thanks again for letting me know about the problem. Hope it works well for you and if you need any other help, let me know! / /_ /_/onathan __/chmidt – On AutoPilot from CompuServe Land
