#Still can't Unzip

I'm still haveing probs unziping file. I downloaded the Unzip prog and
still get the same results.
When I'm in the shell and type 'unzip letters.zip ' for example i get
Explodeing letters.zip and then either nothing happens ie the shell prompt
just hangs there or i get a software failure, could it be that the prog is
not compatible with my 1200, if so is there an alternative unzip prog I
could try.

Please tell me exactly which version of Unzip you are using, and which
file you are trying to unzip. I will then download both of them and try
them out to see if I'm getting the same results you have. I'm using a
2500 with v. 2.1, so if it works for me and not for you, we can blame the
hardware with more confidence, can't we?

I'm using Unzip v5.1 and I downloaded it from compuserve,twice (FILENAME;
Unzip.lha.) I've tried it with a few zip files and the result is the same
but one of the files was called FEB93.zip from the Newage forum.

I have downloaded UNZIP.LHA (UnZip V5.1d) from the libraries a few days
ago and it causes softare failures on my system. Running an A2500/20
under 2.04 wb.

I've downloaded it, but have not yet checked it out. If it is giving this
much trouble, we probably should not keep it in the libraries. We do have
a problem. There is a new ZIP program for the MSDOS machines, and it is
being widely used, even here on CompuServe. Our old ZIP programs will not
work with programs zipped with the new version. So we really need that
updated one.
I uploaded one a week or so ago that was advertised as a beta version, but
it seemed to work.
Thanks for the input. We'll get it worked out as soon as possible.
