I purchased a Flicker Free Video 2, and currently have a CSA MMR in my A2000. The two board conflict in space, and I was wondering if anyone knew of a good source for hardware that I could use to engineer a Denise extension cable? (ie: A socket that plugs into the Denise socket, and perhaps ribbon cable to extend the unit far enough away to fit my CSA MMR in the unit)?

Call up microway. They sent me some extender boards free for the denise.

Michael, Was that the DEB2000 board, or something else? When I called Microway up regarding that the only thing they had was the DEB2000 which costs $99 and extends the Denise into a slot.

Sorry, I thought that you had that already. On mine, when I went to install the megachip, the two conflicted. Microway sent me a chip extender to pick the DEB2000 cable out of the way. rep exit

This still may be what I need. When you say a chip extender to pick the cable out of the way , do you mean something that plugged into the Denise socket and moved the chip socket away enough to plug the DEB2000 into it?

Yes. The DEB2000 is a board that sits between the last two IBM slots. A cable goes from that board to the denise socket. The extender picks this cable about 1/4 inch off of this socket to clear for the megachip 2000.
