Ive got a 386sx board installed in my A3000. Also installed a Viglen multi io board. (very nice) 5mb total ram on the bboard. Within the last 3 days or so Windows won't display in colour. I've checked PcPrefs and both video modes are disabled. In BBsetups Vga is enabled, however, although the Windows logo comes up OK the rest of windows is in a mono mode. I can't figure out why this should be. Anyone got any clues please? Pete

Pete, Assuming you have color running otherwise, you might check to see if you inadvertently changed video drivers in Windows.

Hmmm…thought I was but I'll check. Got a new 170mb Conner to install this weekend when I get the Y shape power connectors. That should make a difference. Pete

Pete, Make sure you didn't select a monochrome mode for your Window's preferences. Go into the Control Panel, select the Color ICON and see what you've loaded. Also make sure you've got the correct video driver selected. Don

Thanks Don I'll do that. (time passes) Ok done that and the default? VGA mode had been set. However, it seems to be flakey so installed loads of new Paradise drivers which work very well. Thanks for the several suggestions to all. Pete
