#BRS/Search/Win any good?

I'm looking to convert from a Unix based text search software called
BRS/Search, Version 6 to a Novell-based product, preferably running under
Windows 3.1. I understand that BRS Software has announced a Windows version of
BRS/Search. Has anyone experience with this product? Does anyone have any
comparitive analysis of text search software products suitable for a Netware
LAN? Thanks for any tips and suggestions.

I do know that some large corporations do use the BRS software under Windows
(its called Pinpoint). American Airlines is one.
We provide a package for NetWare 386 that allows CD-ROMs to be accessed as
NetWare volumes and are trying to work out a problem using Pinpoint with a
CD-ROM on the LAN. Just talked to the Pinpoint programmer yesterday.

Thanks, David, for the tip about Pinpoint. I had read that BRS was introducing
a Windows version of BRS/Search, but wasn't aware that the name was Pinpoint.
We are looking for organizations that have made the switch from a mini-computer
based version of BRS/Search to the DOS or Windows verison. We would like to
know what to expect of BRS/Search/Windows in the performance arena prior to
making the switch ourselves.
Speaking of MDI, does your company make a line of optical drives? I think that
some div's at the City of Seattle are purchasing such drives.
Can't help you in what to expect performance wise, I was just trying to track
down a problem involving their software.
Yes, we do sell optical drives, jukeboxes along with our SCSI Express software.
Did a quick check and there are several City of Seattle entries in our contact
database. Archiving of general data and 35mm pictures.
