Siggraph seems to be the place to learn a bit about future 3DS capabilities,
get up to speed on hardware and to meet some of the people from this forum.
My wife has been nagging me to take her to America this year. Is Siggraph a
good justification? What sort of event is it? When and where is it? and is it
worth a trip?

It's the biggest Computer Graphics conference of the year in this country, M.
If you want to see everything thats new in the business, it's the place to
be…Not to mention the 3DS party at the Disneyland Hotel! It is the first week
of August at the Anaheim Convention Center in the Los Angeles area of Southern
California. You can get cheap tickets to Disneyland with your room at the
hotel, and there's still plenty of 'em!

I've been off the forum for a while. Actually been busy with $$ work. (A
totally new concept for us). Anyways, could you repeat the info on the 3DS
party. (Time, Date, Place, etc.) I must have missed that message.

Lessee, Mark. I believe is is the evening of Tuesday, August 3rd. Gary had
mentioned that it will probably be held at the Disneyland hotel. The time is
7:00 to 11:00. It was stressed that registered 3DS users will be mailed ONE
invitation per registration….

Sounds good. Still haven't answered my question of where and when. I need this
to talk shop with a travel agent.
