Steve, I've been trying to call you to let you know I am looking at other options for employment. With your extensive industry knowledge and contacts (stroke, stroke) you must get offers all the time – but I know you're too happy with Todd to consider them. I've gotten a few nibbles myself in the week that I've been looking. This is a great time to be looking for options in the CD-ROM industry, and I'd hate to miss out on that perfect job because I didn't know it was available. So let me know if you hear of anything, OK? (I wonder if Rich would let me post my reume?) Thanks, Dana Parker

Dana: Color me surprised! Corporate life not agree with you? I have no objection to your posting such a file, just identify it clearly in the description as a resume. All the best – Rich

Rich, it's not corporate life, it's being out of the mainstream. I get lots of leads from the book and my column, and (sorry, cat on keyboard) I've had to give 'em all away because my employer serves such a tiny little niche market. It's frustrating. Also, Fort Collins is exactly a hotbed of high-tech development, which is real boring for someone who cut her teeth at Meridian Data's bleeding edge. (Wow, what a vivid image that is!) I think I'll hold off on posting my resume, though. That's a little more exposure than I really need. Dana Parker
