I love my Emplant but would be out of luck if my keyboard died. I've been
using a spare keyboard for my 3000 while waiting over 3 months for a new
one from Grapevine.
If I were using an Apple, all I would need to do is pop into a local store
or go mail order and would have a replacement immediately.

You got a keyboard now …right…so what are you complaining about.
besides isn't there an adapter that will let you use an ibm keyboard
….so there…ya set for life.
Donovan,
if you can't get an Amiga keyboard from any other source, NorthGate
does sell an Amiga compatible keyboard, the OmniKey Ultra. Much better
than the stock keyboard, IMHO, but more expensive too. It can be ordered
direct from them, along with the replacement keycaps. Nice thing is, if
you switch systems to an IBM, your keyboard goes with you <g>.
