I'm looking for impressions of Caligari's 3-D modeling and animation software. I've noticed that this product is now avaliable for Windows (sorry). I'm not an Amiga user, but thought I might pick up some impressions/tips/insight from users on the Amiga platform. All input is appreciated. Regards — John

John, there's a working demo of Caligari Truespace in the Graphdev forum. It's very attractive and seems straight forward to use, but like the Amiga incarnations of Caligari, it doesn't seem to have enough features to be competitive with other 3D software. –Rick Rodriguez

The Windows version is a completely different and muchmore advanced version than that available for the Amiga. The demo at NAB was superb. As far as bang-for-buck, I think there is nothing else on Windows at present that can touch it. wmc – via Autopilot!

I have Caligari Broadcast and love it. While it does lack some features of other 3D software, its great for most of my work. The interface is very intuitive, free form deformations are great, and animating is a snap. If you need specific info drop me a line. Richard- Shangra-la Techno Productions
