Can anyone tell me how to log in at 14400? London has just got the new speed
but when I log in I get a CONNECT 14400/ARQ message then it just goes dead. I
can still get in at 9600, but when I change the speed parameter (and nothing
else) no joy. This happens when I set my software to 14400 or 38400.
I'm using a Sportster 14400 fax modem, a basic A1200 and Term 3.04 '030. Any
suggestions?

I can't actually help with your 14400 problem, but I've got exactly the
same setup as you, except my Amiga is an A4000/30.
What is the London 14400 node number ? I'll give it a try ( I'll be
dialing from Liverpool ).
I don't know if this is a problem but you say you're using the '030
version of Term3.4 with a bog-standard '020 A1200. 030 into 020 may not
go. Have you also checked your Serial Prefs to make sure they're set above
9600 ?
