I need to know if when Upgrading my Rev 6 Motherboard that I just got for my 2.04 Rom, I need to remove the wire on it? Please help, someone. My original upgrade kit is in Oklahoma and I am in New Jersey! Rodger

Rodger: If you're talking about a Rev 6 A500, I'm pretty sure you need to remove the wire from the ROM. Otherwise you'll get a blank red screen on power-up. Wayne

For Rev 6 you should not have a jumPer wire on the ROM. -Vree in Virginia

Thanks Neil! I took the chance and removed (clipped) the wire. I thought I remembered the instructions saying that was what was needed to make it work on a Rev. 6 Motherboard! It worked. Sometimes you just have to say, "What the F***!" Rodger
