I am upgrading 3ds to release 3, everything was going fine until I had to do the "3ds vibcfg" procedure. Initially I tried using VIBRANT for each display selection using Tseng Labs ET4000 board at 640x480x256, but when I chose OK and the system tried to initialize 3ds3, I got this message.. "Abnormal program termination: Page fault cs:EIP=000Fh:00051FA2h". So then I tried setting all display selections to RCPADI, but I then got a message "Display too small for this application specified display too small". Setting all displays to RCPADI gives me no accessability to change the resolutions. What do I need to do? Thanks.

James, << Setting all displays to RCPADI gives me no accessability to change the resolutions. What do I need to do? >> delete your 3dadi.cfg file in your 3ds root directory and then start 3ds. jonas[adesk]

Okay, I deleted the file, and reset everything back to Vibrant, and removed a TSR I found, now 3ds 3 works.. except for another problem. When I try to view a .FLC or .FLI from Render/view, it only works on occasion, the times it doesn't work I get a new error message.. "CS:EIP=000Fh:001716A4h" This is an abnormal termination page fault again. Is there a way to find out exactly what TSR programs may still be existing on my system? Thanks.

James, Check out my message in the Animator section. Also, If you have an ET4000 board, why would you select RCPADI? That is not right. You should select Vibrant and the proper video baord name. Make sure you delete any 3DADI.CFG files that may be in the 3DS directory. Which Board do you have? -Brian
