#Brushes? in IM1.5

I know this will seem like a really dumb question, but how does one cut out a
brush and then manage to position it on an image and paste it down?
I was successful in cutting out a brush by choosing Cut out Brush, which then
saved it to a buffer. But when I choose Choose Brush from the buffer, nothing
seems to happen. I want to repaste my brush on my image with a feathered edge.
How is this accomplished?
My brushes seem to be saved correctly to the buffer, but no matter what I do, I
can't seem to call it up in a way that enables me to position it on my image.
Please help. I've been an owner of your software for some time, but your lack
of tutorials and proper help (I searched the Help section as well as your
manual, to no avail to get some sort of anwer) makes me turn to AdPro most of
the time. Your program seems to have a lot of neat stuff, but you make it very
difficult and frustrating to use.
Can you change this for me in this case?

Certainly. in the paint panel, cut out a brush. Now pick the freehand tool
from the tool palette. Select line draw, and bingo, you're drawing with
your brush.
Pointing at the line draw tool and pressing help briefly describes the
relationship here.

Thanks, Ben. This does work. Can you tell me why there are no instructions in
the manual regarding this?

There is basic information that serves: Place the pointer over the line
draw tool, and press help.
In addition, under the "table of contents", under the subheading
"tutorials", is the "Paint Tutorial". This describes exactly how to do
what you're asking.
If you don't have this tutorial, likely you've not gotten the latest
version of the software (1.50).
So there you go.

I agree 100% about documentation. ImageMaster is such a complete program that
it sometimes seems like no amount of documentation can cover it. Regarding
painting, version 1.50 has a new tutorial in the main help section which covers
paint tools and techniques. I've been using IM for over 2 years now, and had
always bitched to myself about the lack of a good airbrush. Weellll, one look
at the tutorial and I had a perfect airbrush, first time around. Spent the next
half-hour UNDOing and REDOing my quiggle using various options. I was in hog
heaven.

I highly recommend the tapes they are offering for about $50.00. They are
worth it for novices.
