#The Demise Of Commodore
7 messages in this thread
Looks like according to the Arizona Republic that Commodore has finally gone
the way of the Edsel. They have padlocked the company and stopped trading
stocks Friday.
Guess that's it. Darn Shame. Good computer. Dosen't look like anyone's gonna
come forward and buy it out.
What are we to do now? Any chance of someone coming aboard here and giving us
an explanation as to where we go from here? I hate the thought of PC's…yeech!
Rob
Commodore stopped trading about a month and a half ago. Commodore
International Limited is in voluntary liquidation. Samsung seems to
currently interested in buying the Amiga, but there hasn't been an
announcement just yet. The Arizona Republic is behind the times, but then
they cheer on the Arizona Scum Devils too 🙂

Believe it or not, the stock still had value as of last week and was
trading, just not on the NY SX. At least that was the last word from a
borker friend.

Maybe after Sam T. makes enough money selling Jaguars he'll buy it.
