Does anyone know how to get the registered copy of Terminus? I've been
using the evaluation copy and I sent off the registation fee some weeks
ago, but I've heard nothing.
I've sent E-Mail to both a compuserve address and an internet address
(jprad@faatcrl.faa.gov) but I've not received any reply.
The program won't load up now, saying that the evaluation period has
expired.
Thanks, Greg
Greg,
I heard Jack Radigan was moving, so that might be the reason for the
delay. I am planning to register the program soon too.

Micheal,
Problem is the eveluation copy now refuses to run and I'm without my
Terminal program. I use AP for CompuServe but for my other BBS's I'm
stuck.
Greg
Just set your clock back, play with terminus, and set it back to the right
day before you shut down.

Thanks,
This is what I'm having to do.

Try deleting Terminus and re-installing it. Not sure if it will work, but
it might.

Steve,
Re-installing Terminus won't work. Tried it with 2.0a,b,c and d. At the
moment I use TERM 3.4. And I must say, I don't like this program.

It will if you wipe out the old copy first… but then you have to reenter
all your phonebooks, definitions and scripts. It really bites!
Gee… it seems like sending him $40 bucks to register wouldn't be so
difficult after all! Now, where to send it too?

Jack was saying that the Ocean City address is still good for now.

Delete your Terminus files except the archived file you downloaded and
then decompress the archive and re-install Terminus as if you had just
downloaded it again and away you go….

Problem with this is that I would probably have to reconfigure it all
again.
Greg
I was wrong… I re-DL'd TerminuS today, Wiped it out completely fRom my
hard drive, and whEn it re-installed it STILL Gave me that ridiculouS
windoW. All the betteR tho… whEn I had Terminus on a floppy I deleted a
LOT of stuff that I should have kept… so at least now it's all there for
when I reGister it.
BTw, has anyone called Jack and his new BBS location yet? If so, how
about leaving some subliminal messages for SWReg.

I just recently (within the past 2-3 weeks) received my copy by snail
mail. It did take awhile.
BTW, I used my demo copy for quite some time (perhaps 3 months) before
registering. Laziness, I guess (hence the thread on SWREG for Terminus,
huh?).
Anyway, good luck. You should see it soon, I would assume. They ARE still
around.

Greg,
Got the same problem with Terminus. Only thing that helps is to change the
date. I also send several messages to Jack, hope he will answer them soon.
