I'm currently trying to create an animation for an EGS Spectrum board
out of several 320×200 256 grey levels IFF images. The only viewers I
have are EGSFlick and mp103. Does any one know of a tool to create
MPEG or FLI/FLC animations from such files? I've tried with ImageFX
but the FLI produced doesn't work. Moreover I'm running ImageFX with
OS 2.04 and I can't save EGS rendered images in the FLI format and
the Amiga rendered images doesn't have the grey level resolution I
want.
Any help will be appreciated.
Thank's
Clement
Clement,
There is a BuildMPEG utility here on CIS that will let you use it with ImageFX
to turn sequences of images into MPEGs.
The reason you can't save EGS rendered images into FLI's is that you are
supposed to use the FOREIGN render module for rendering FLC animations.

Mr. Drolet,
A company called Terra Nova is working on an EGS version of their MAGIC
LANTERN program for creating 24-bit animations. I suggest that you contact
them; the program may already be available.
