Thanks, no fax or modem board here. But sounds like several others are seeing these problems with Carmen.

Help! Need basic info on how to play. Purchased game bundled with a CD player – minus instructions. For example, how to select destinations to travel to other than those on the map? Thanks

I guess, if the truth be known, it isn't a terribly exciting game, says he with tongue planted firmly in sour grapes!

I purchased the Texel/FD package _without_ PAS, and I also have hangups on certain games. For example, when playing Life & Death, when I examine a patient (I can't believe I'm writing this :|) ), if he/she has a pain, a groan is produced via my PC's speaker. If there is more than one groan, the game locks up. Also, when I want to access the Game Package menu, sometimes the first letter of the subdirectory drops when I type in the name of the bat file. This causes the subdir to act as if it's not found; when I retype the bat file name again, it comes up ok. Groan ! "Dr." RRR
