Stephen, Sorry I took so long in getting back to you. I haven't been using my soundboard. I just reinstalled the software and these are the settings that work for me and my WinStorm board. DMA 3, IRQ 5. You are using a Vortex Bridgeboard and I am using the Commodore BB. So try these settings and hope they work. Good luck. Mike Just Multitasking Operating Systems AmigaDos & OS/2.

Thanks, I'll try them out. It actually gets weirder if you want to go "multimedia" on the PC. Then you need to configure for MIDI as well. So I've got to fool with the setup for the WInStorm/Winsound card which request 3 setup IRQ's for the board itself, for SOunblaster and for Midi. Then you have to set Windows separetely. Then if you load a CDROM game like the excellent Gabriel Knight adventure, you have to hope it detects the right IRQ's and DMA to give you good sound as well as another setup for music. Yeech. Makes you appreciate the Amiga all the more!
