There I was — stepping down the stairway to my mailbox expecting yet another set of wallet-murdering bills. The tingling of the keys on my key-ring seemed innocent enough as I selected the glinting, chrome mailbox key and dutifuly inserted into the lock. The sardined packages of mail practically burst from the box as I unlached the lock. I casually flipped through the dreary bulk of cliche magazine covers and wedding invitations when suddenly, as if my mind were siezed by some unseen force, my eyes caught a glimse of a familiar sequence of letters: Y – O – S – T. I don't remember the trip back up the stairway. From that point on everything is blurred and surrounded by spurting stars too. The snow white envelope seemed to glow. In the distance, the trees, shrubs, flowers, and dented structures all seemed to disintegrate as if melted away by some sort of plasma rain. My perception of reality started to deform as the smoke cleared from my eyes. I heard this searing noise. And when I regained by composer it seemed as if I was trapped in a spherified slab of marble. The sun seemed to expode and create fractalized fireworks. The cloud-filled skline seemed to ever twist and reshape as if commanded by an ominous manta wave. Was this a stretch of the imagination? Was I on a different planet? Was I about to flip? Or was my crumpled spirit about to splatter as if my mind was in a clamp? Its hard to say. But from that moment on, I was able to clean up the meshres in my scattered brain and optimize my daily tempo. Like a valiant flame, I displaced my fear of the hedra to become a man with new skin. And now every waking momement seems like a slice of xmas. For I have found the keyman! The hilight of existance! Reality is nothing more than a monochrome vapor blowing in your eyes and giving your lens flare. So if ever you are under the influence of an external force, just say IPAS! ————— Many apologies to the Yost Group for I just received the new flyer. — James E. Coulter —

James, it sounds like you found the secret scratch 'n sniff with the dose of LSD on it that's embedded in the new catalog! There's no known antidote, ya know.

WoW!! Thanks for the flashback! For a minute there I was back at that Pink Floyd concert in 1975 with the flying pigs (or was that the band?–I never could figure that one out). Anyway, if you ever get the chance to render that total eclipse of yours, I for one would pay good $$ to download it, so don't even worry about file size! -scott lawrence- P.S. I'm uploading your message to Dr. Tim Leary for further analysis. :+)
