I really like my Practical Peripherals FAX Modem… many of their model come with a lifetime warranty.

I'm using an AT&T DataPort 14.4. And have had no problems with the modem or fax side. Chris – Fast and Low on my '020! Is it significant that my spell-checker doesn't know "Intel"?

Hi, Charles! I, to, have a Supra 2400, I called Supra two weeks ago, and ordered their new SupraFaxModem which is capable of up to 28800 bps. If you give them the serial number off your old modem they'll sell you the new modem for $299. I have just started using it, and have had no problems with it yet. Obviously, it is early yet to make an honest judgement call, but Supra's products have always had a good reputation. So, you might consider this. —Speeding along at 14400 via AutoPilot Lou Yurcsak

LOU, SUPRA WAS MY FIRST CHOICE BUT WHEN I CALLED TO ORDER, THEY WERE NOT ENTHUSED AND ACTUALLY DISCOURAGED ME,AFTER READING MANY COMPLAINTS AND PROBLEMS IN THE COMM. FORUM I UNDERSTAND WHY, I THINK THEY'RE HAVING BIG SOFTWARE PROBLEMS. CHARLIE

Charles, don't buy a Tornado external Fax/modem, 'cause I had two of them and they both didn't work! (Or was it the shop where I bought 'em?) 🙂 MaRiO. -= MoToRoLa RuLeZ, InTeL FooLZ! =- /// 68o2o aGa OnBoarD …///\\\///
