When you say the market share collapsed to 2.2% from 7.5, I assume you mean
market share per machines shipped this quarter? I've seen a lot of analysis
reports on the European market, and the Amiga has a higher installed base
(barely) than PCs. Another interesting statistic to look for is unit sales vs.
revenue. Amiga products typically don't rake in the same kind of profit that
PC products do, but they were selling them in droves. I wouldn't be surprised
to see this quarter's product shipment collapse in the face of Commodore's
inventory problem.

I don't say "collaspsed": the words are a direct quote from The Wall Street
Journal Europe and Dataquest study. And indeed it is for the first quarter of
this year.

That's not true. Maybe in the home market only, but not total installed units.
