I think the word PC refers to the IBM-PC clone line that Commodore used to
sell, not the Amiga line… and I would feel fairly confident that it
would not contain games consoles… or else the Nintendo might be the
worlds best selling PC!

This is probably true, but the term PC is used in so many different ways
it's impossible to be sure.

The article doesn't specify anything beyond "PC", although it does identify
the Amiga by name. Since I don't know anything more than what was printed, I
sure can't agree or disagree.

No flame intended, but there's plenty of reason to suspect "Amiga" and
"Colt" could be interchangeable terms in the reporter's mind; and,
actually, anyone who is simply restating Commodore's Official Position is
only telling the public what Commodore wants them to hear, no?…

I expect that it was for ALL machines, since CBM was shipping very little.
Nothing can be sold if you don't have any machines at the dealers.

That would be my guess as well, but since the article didn't get into
methodology, it's impossible to say for sure.
