Charles, I have been using modems from Midwest Micro with the brand name "Infotel". So far I have not had any problems with the modem. You can get a 14.4 external fax/modem for about $100 and the 28.8 version can be had, delivered no less, for under $200. I have one ordered but they will not be shipping, the 28.8 version, until May 31. They come with the RTS/CTS capable serial cable and IBM software. I currently have two of the 14.4 Infotels and a SupraFAXModem V32.bis. After using the Infotels I have no use for Supra…. // Gary Vander Mei on Auto-Pilot \X/
